Surface tracer dilution is a non-intrusive, high-accuracy method used to verify multiphase flow meters (such as MPFM, WGVM, V-Cone, Orifice and Flare Meter) without shutting in wells. By injecting tracers into the flow and analysing the concentration downstream, we determine phase flow rates with uncertainties as low as 2.2–4.4%. This method is suitable for Site Acceptance Tests, wellhead full-stream measurement, water injection systems, gas lift, flare meters and EOS Flash Table updates.
